Acenterine wordt voorbehouden voor de symptomatische behandeling van de volgende aandoeningen:

  • Rheumatoïde polyarthritis.
  • Acuut gewrichtsreuma.
  • Spondylitis ankylopoëtica.
  • Collageenziekte waarbij een intensieve langdurige salicylaattherapie verantwoord is.

Wegens de vertraagde resorptie van Acenterine is het produkt niet aangewezen bij acuut pijnlijke aandoeningen of aandoeningen gepaard gaande met koorts zoals een griepsyndroom, tandpijn enz.
